It's Happening at Off Broadway

Great Improvements Coming to Off Broadway!

The Off Broadway Board of Directors is happy to announce the receipt of a $500,000 grant from DHHS and the ARPA Home and Community. We would like to thank Nancy Ferguson for helping write the grant, Paul Brungard for helping with the design, and Jodi and the staff for their input. The grant will provide for an addition and remodeling of the facility. This will enable Off Broadway to add more services for the residents and community. We will be adding:

• A Gathering Room, which will allow private dining experiences with family and friends;

 • An Activities Room with a full kitchen, which will include a nutritional center Clinic Room where additional services will be added;

 • A New Medication Room with a private nurse's office;

 • A Fitness Room for the residents; and

 • A new ice cream parlor for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy. We will also be able to update the Large Dining Room.

This grant will help us improve the quality of life for our residents and give them even more opportunities to remain independent and self-sufficient. We are hoping for completion of this project in the fall of 2024. We are looking for certified contractors for this project. If you know someone who would be interested, please have them call Jodi at (308) 872-2522. This is very exciting for Off Broadway Apartments!

Activities

Movie Night Party

In our friendly community, Off Broadway residents are free to choose how they will spend their days. We offer many activities for your entertainment. From cookie baking, fishing, or attending local festivities and special events within the community. Options abound, including puzzles, games, crafts, and playing cards. On the days you're not feeling as social, one can relax in the quiet sanctuary of their apartment or any of the comfortable common areas available.

For those who enjoy spending time outdoors, our grounds are welcoming and offer opportunities for residents to share gardening skills or to sit in the shade of our patios, balconies, or gazebo. Off Broadway strives to help each resident feel the comfort of home in our community.

Our outings to nearby restaurants and attractions are selected based on the preferences of our residents. Other options for fun and good times include Bingo, movies and popcorn, and musical performances (which are regular sources of entertainment at Off Broadway). We host several open social events throughout the year. We want your friends and family to feel welcome at Off Broadway! We encourage people to come and find out who we are. Many amazing stories and adventures are shared here.
